Specialised Education in Platelet-Rich Fibrin & Regenerative Aesthetics

Advanced regenerative education begins with biological understanding.

At PRF Clinic, we believe that working with Platelet-Rich Fibrin requires more than mastering a treatment technique. It requires a comprehensive understanding of blood biology, cellular signalling, fibrin formation, tissue regeneration and the clinical principles that determine safe and responsible treatment.

Our programmes are developed for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their knowledge, refine their clinical skills and specialise in regenerative aesthetics – combining scientific education, international expertise and supervised clinical training to bridge the gap between biological research and practical application.

A flexible pathway to advanced PRF education

Healthcare professionals enter regenerative aesthetics with different educational backgrounds, clinical experience and familiarity with PRF. Some are entirely new to Platelet-Rich Fibrin; others have already completed professional PRF training and built significant clinical experience.

To reflect this, PRF Clinic Education offers two pathways to advanced specialisation – both built on the same principle:

Clinical competence, biological understanding and patient safety must always come first.

Pathway 1

PRF Foundation Course

Building the scientific and clinical foundation

For professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of the biological and clinical principles behind PRF.

The programme covers blood biology, growth factors, the fibrin matrix, centrifugation science, PRF preparation, treatment protocols, clinical assessment and patient safety – with particular emphasis on why different protocols produce different biological products, and why treatment must always be considered in relation to the individual patient, tissue and indication.

  • Online theory, in-person education and supervised hands-on training on live models
  • Maximum eight participants
  • Written and practical assessment leading to certification
  • Graduates may apply for our advanced programmes

Pathway 2

Direct Advanced Entry

Recognition of prior PRF education & clinical experience

For experienced practitioners who already hold substantial theoretical knowledge and practical experience with PRF, repeating a full foundation programme may not always be necessary.

Following an individual professional assessment, we offer direct admission to selected advanced courses. Applicants are evaluated on their previous education, documented PRF training, clinical experience and understanding of essential biological and safety principles.

  • Assessment may include a professional interview, documentation of previous training or an evaluation of practical competencies
  • Admission is granted only when the prerequisites for safe and meaningful participation are demonstrated
  • Where significant knowledge gaps are identified, we may advise completing the Foundation Course first

Direct entry does not mean reduced standards. It means recognising existing competencies while maintaining the same commitment to educational quality and patient safety.

Two pathways at a glance

Pathway 1 – PRF Foundation Course Pathway 2 – Direct Advanced Entry
Who it is for Practitioners seeking a comprehensive biological and clinical foundation in PRF Experienced practitioners with existing PRF education and clinical experience
Admission Application to the PRF Foundation Course Individual assessment of professional competencies
Prerequisites Built through the Foundation Course Must be documented or demonstrated
Teaching Scientific theory, biological principles, clinical protocols and supervised hands-on training Direct access to relevant specialised modules after approval
Assessment Written and practical evaluation Individual screening and, where relevant, supplementary competency assessment
Next step Eligible to apply for advanced courses Eligible to apply for advanced courses
Shared principle Professional understanding, patient safety and documented competencies

Both pathways can lead to PRF Clinic's advanced programmes. Access to practical training requires that participants meet the relevant competency and safety requirements for each module.

Advanced education – moving beyond the foundations

Our advanced courses focus on specialised clinical applications of PRF and its integration with complementary regenerative technologies – deepening professional knowledge and strengthening the clinical decision-making required for more specialised treatments.

International expertise. Clinical experience. Scientific understanding.

PRF Clinic Education brings together international scientific perspectives and extensive hands-on experience from specialised regenerative aesthetic practice.

Our goal is not simply to teach a procedure, but to strengthen understanding of the biological mechanisms that guide treatment planning, protocol selection and clinical decisions. We distinguish between established evidence, emerging research and clinical observation – and encourage practitioners to think critically.

Because regenerative aesthetics is not about following a fixed recipe. It is about understanding biology and translating it into responsible clinical practice.

Find your pathway

Whether you are beginning your journey with PRF or looking to advance existing clinical competencies, PRF Clinic Education offers a structured route to further specialisation.

For an individual assessment, email Uddannelse@prfclinic.dk with your professional background and any authorisation, previous PRF training (with certificates), a short description of your clinical experience with PRF, and the programme you are interested in.

Two pathways. One standard of excellence.

Frequently asked questions

Who can apply for Direct Advanced Entry?

Healthcare professionals who have completed professional PRF training elsewhere and have documented clinical experience with PRF. Every application is assessed individually.

What does the assessment involve?

Depending on the programme, it may include a professional interview, documentation of previous training and, where relevant, an evaluation of practical competencies.

What if I don't meet the requirements?

If we identify significant knowledge gaps, we will recommend the PRF Foundation Course as the right first step – so you can progress to advanced education with a solid foundation.

Is the Foundation Course still recommended?

Yes. For practitioners who are new to PRF, or who want a thorough scientific and clinical grounding, the Foundation Course remains the recommended route into advanced education.

Does a PRF Clinic certificate authorise me to perform treatments?

No. Certificates are proof of education, not a public authorisation. Practitioners are responsible for holding the registrations, medical affiliation and permissions required by the legislation in their own country.
